The pubs will mirror the Stadium

and throng with songs not sung 

except in time of long gone war

to prop up the divide 

and form allegiance to a side

And if our boys don’t win 

or even if they do

big soft lads 

dressed in England flags

sporting St George tattoos

will weep in the streets

then beat their wives

if what is said is true
