Falling Still
All monoliths against the sky
memorials to memory –
All stunning echoings of those
twinned towers –
Two decades now, of falling man,
of photographic-epitaph,
un-fixed in living memory,
and replayed endlessly –
Now bombers, sold eternity,
as prize for suicide,
fall on Kabul still
today –
